Science at Bletchley Park PS

At Bletchley Park Science is taught as a specialist subject by 3 Science teachers: Fiona Browning, Pamela Lumsden and Angela Davey. Science covers biology, physics, chemistry, earth and space, science inquiry skills and science as a human endeavour.

Science lessons are delivered in an engaging and hands on fashion where students get to use their senses to learn about the world. This includes the use of technology such as robots and inquiry based STEM learning.

The Bletchley Park Primary School Science program centres around the Science inquiry skills, encouraging curiosity and use of evidence to make inferences. Annually the school celebrates Science week with a range of integrated activities, investigations, parades and incursions. The Science team organise further opportunities to explore the Science realm in the form of wildlife nights at Kanyana Wildlife Hospital, National Water Week and Astronomy nights.
