Runners Club is back up and running!!!!   

Runners club is a program for students in Years 3-6 who have been selected from the Faction Cross Country Carnival. The program focuses on building strength, agility and endurance whilst building on an individual’s self-confidence through a fun and motivating program that encourages the children to set their own goals. Students participate in two sessions a week. One session focuses on running drills, building muscle strength and running form, whilst the other session focuses on endurance and individual success with the use of the QR laps codes that enables the students to be able to see their personal improvement over time.

Target group: Years 3-6 students

Term 2, Weeks 8-10

Term 3, Weeks 1-10

When: Tuesdays @ 7.30am - 8.15am 

Where: Oval and surrounding footpath around the school

 

Program Outline:

Warm up: 7.30am-7.40am

Laps around the school: 7.45am-8.05am

Cool down: 8.10am-8.15am

 

Requirements:

sports shoes

water bottle and 

piece of fruit/snack for after runners club
