The Fathering Project

goat

The Bletchley Park Billy Goats is BPPS' Fathering Group.

The Fathering Group Project aims to equip dads and father figures to be more effective dads.  The hope is they can provide help to raise healthier and happier children for every body’s future.

The roles of parents are ever evolving. the aim of the Billy Goats is to help Bletchley Dads become more active in their kid's lives. We do this by creating a space to help this to happen, through events and activities we plan.

We also want to help Dad’s by providing a space to discuss issues that might be impacting their role as parents. We want to create a community of like-minded people who want to make the school a better place.

A Father figure can be many people, it could be mum, an uncle, a granddad, a coach or a neighbour. The important thing is they model good behaviours for our children. We want to be and create good citizens in our community.

The Billy Goats meet a few times a term with a mixture of Dad and kids’ events, Family events, and Dad only events. If you're interested in joining us, we have a Facebook page where we share all our activities. Connect with us so you can see how you can join. The address is https://www.facebook.com/BPBillyGoats/
